わー! It snowed the other day in 下北!とてもきれいでした!It was so beautiful!

My lovely 日本語の先生's prediction was right. Just as you think it's getting warmer and that winter is on it's way out, it starts to snow! Secretly I was so happy. Coming from Sydney where it never snows, it's so beautiful and fun for me. I was standing on my balcony squealing 'there's snow on me! there's snow on my arm!' ha ha. Can you tell from my snow excitement that I've only be living in Tokyo for almost a year!

And when I went for a walk in the morning I saw three snowmen!

Hello Sandwich VOGUE Living Ten Favourite Things

Hello Sandwiches!

I think I'm about to go on an explanation mark frenzy!

The lovely VOGUE Living have interviewed Hello Sandwich for their Ten Favourite Things page and it's on sale tomorrow!!!

It's quite unbelievable for me that I'm on this page as for years at the VOGUE Living art desk whilst designing this page each issue I would playfully imagine what my top ten things would be. Once, I even made a mock 'Ten Faves Page' for my dear friend Richard Waller (former VOGUE Living Deputy Editor and current Editor of Inside Out Magazine) on his birthday. His 'mock' (but secretly true) ten favourite things included Pol Roger Champagne and blue moon roses! So it's quite crazy for me to see myself on this page!

The cover of the new VOGUE Living looks so beautiful! I can't wait to receive my copy! It always makes me miss my old job when I receive the issue in the mail though (sob sob).

Thank you so much David and the VOGUE Living team! I miss you all so much! Thank you so much for your Sandwich support! xoxo

Hello Sandwiches,

I just made a little video from my Tokyo Craft Workshop! Hope you can enjoy it.

The super cute music is by Nagoya based Lullatone. They've just released a new album called 'Elevator Music'. It's so cute! You can download it here.

It's a long weekend here in Japan, and I'm off to Kyoto! Weeee. Have a lovely weekend.

It's also mama-sando's birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAMA-SANDO!

It's a little sad that another fantastic D♥Y event is over. Remember the last event here?

What a wonderful weekend! Creative people, music workshops, ceramic workshops, calligraphy workshops, handmade pinball machines, delicious food + coffee + hot wine, lovely friends visiting and meeting some lovely Hello Sandwich readers!

Thank you so much Eguchi-san for inviting me! And thank you lovely Hiroko-san for all of your help and for translating for me!
