Let's enjoy recording our daily life in a cute way with this scrap booking techniques workshop. In this workshop you will make your own staple bound handmade notebook and notebook cover. You will also learn scrap booking techniques such as making your own photo corners, small pockets, fold out mini notes and other cute scrap booking ideas to make your scrap book more original. You can enjoy decorating the pages of your notebook with mt washi tape and craft punches.
All materials provided, but feel free to bring along any of your favourite papers or photos to use in the workshop.

Create beautiful stationery with Ebony Bizys of Hello Sandwich in this exclusive series of workshops at Craft.

Let's enjoy bringing back the art of letter writing and be inspired in this creative stationery workshop. In this workshop you will learn the techniques to make various creative letters. You will make your own letter on a sting which can be displayed as a garland after the receiver has read their letter, and afterwards you will make a folding letter with cute little pockets to hold photos and small notes for the receiver.
All materials provided, but feel free to bring along any of your favourite collage papers or photos to use in the workshop.

Hello Sandwich in Peppermint Magazine

The lovely team at Peppermint magazine commissioned me to make a 'recycled gift wrapping' spread for their new issue on sale today! It was a lot of fun working on this shoot from Tokyo! A walk home from Ebisu

Today's weather is way to lovely to catch the train so I took a little walk home from my workshop in Ebisu to Shimokitazawa and snapped up some instagram shots along the way. It's one of my favourite pastimes, wondering around looking for photos.

Presents from Bahar!

I recently attended Kasuga-san's workshop (remember her? The super talented creator of this amazing pompom making book?) and after the workshop I was snapping away at her gorgeous colourful pompom artworks and much to my surprise she kindly said I could keep this one above!!!



She is one of my idols so you can imagine how honoured I felt to have been given one of her original pompoms.



Kasuga-san also gave me this gorgeous confetti present because my nengajo bounced back to her. What a sweetie!


Now I'm thinking about what cute prsent I can make her to return the favour. Fun!

mt x uniqlo!

ZOMG!!! mt did a collaboration with Uniqlo and look at these t-shirts which went on sale today!!!







As soon as I heard about it (thanks Luke for watching the Uniqlo clock at apple store!) I raced down on my mamachari to stock up on some cute masking tape pattern t-shirts! It was sooo hard to decide which ones to get. They also had cute floral patterns and the ribbon bows tape...gahh maybe I should go back for that one! ;)





AND each t-shirt comes with a free mt x Uniqlo masking tape!

Tokyo Design Festa Highlights

Some of my friends had booths at this years Tokyo Design Festa event so off I went to Tokyo Big Sight with my friend Shimizu-chan. Here are a few highlights!

My amazing friend Mami-chan and her gorgeous cookie-like brooches at Fragola! We visited her booth only 2 hours after opening and she had already sold 50 of the 70 brooches she made! 大人気！
