Today I helped out at the Sunshine to you workshop at Rocket Gallery! It was such a lovely afternoon. Together we made a park out of fabric pieces from Sunshine to You, and paper pieces from Hello Sandwich HQ!

Kihara-san is super talented. Her beautiful zine was also in the Girls Zine book that Hello Sandwich was featured in. Kihara-san makes many beautiful products including garments, bags and these amazing picnic mats. She also screen prints her own gorgeous fabrics. You can see Kihara-san's full range of products here.

ありがとうきはらーさん!今日とても楽しかったです!

Here is a little video I made of the workshop.

The Tokyo Marathon was on today. A very popular event. I applied to run in the 10km race but selection is via lottery and I missed out :( My last race was so much fun and I desperately wanted to run on the Tokyo streets, but it looks like I'll have to keep my fingers crossed for 2012. I went along anyway to cheer on the 33,000 lucky people who got to run today. I then proceeded to eat enough thai food for two people washed down with a gigantic beer. (It's a good thing I'm not in training!)

When I am in training however, I like to use runkeeper. If you're into running outdoors I can highly recommend it. The super amazing Joseph Tame also uses it. If you don't know about Joseph, have a look here. He is amazeballs! And for those of you who follow my twitter - I apologise for so many tweets while watching his live ustream today!

To all the runners - おつかれさま!

My work space is quite mini-me Tokyo size, but the lovely team at Nylon Korea Magazine have featured it in their new issue (top workspace above).
