Hello Sandwich x mt school for wrapping 2012!

Sandwiches! I was asked again to do a mt school for wrapping workshop and also make five artworks for the mt exhibition! This is so much fun!
I hope you can come along to the workshops. There are only ten spots for each workshop so call to book soon if you think you can come.

1980年、オーストラリア・シドニー生まれ。クリエイティブな仕事をもつ両親の影響で、子供の頃から手作り好きに。ニューサウスウェールズ大学在学中からオーストラリアの「ヴォーグ」で仕事を開始。約11年勤務し、「ヴォーグ リビング」で副アートディレクターを務めた。2010年6月に来日。年内に日本の出版社からクラフト本を出版予定。


UPDATE - The workshops are now fully booked. We are trying to put on a second workshop on 7th. Please stay tuned to the mt website for details.

Hello Sandwich x Martha Stewart Demonstration Day!

We had a wonderful day at the Hello Sandwich x Martha Stewart demonstration day! Each session was fully booked with fifteen people each session. Some super lovely participants gave me gifts of cookies, flowers, tea and handmade origami cards! So sweet! Thank you to everyone who came and everyone who helped especially lovely Motoko-chan! I hope everyone is enjoying making craft with their new Martha Stewart punches now.

Mami-chan made me a Hello Sandwich bag!

Look at this incredible tote bag Mami-chan made me! She embroidered my portrait on it! She even embroidered me wearing my blue floral dress with the white collar!



Inside there are polka dots and my initials on the little pocket! soooooooo cute!かわいすぎる！


Mami-chan also gave me this super cute Thumb and Cakes heart cookie on a stick!

Hello Sandwich x Martha Stewart Demonstration Set up!

I set up my Hello Sandwich x Martha Stewart Demonstration and Pop Up Hello Sandwich exhibition at Entre Square in Omotesando today. These cuties (above) helped me and bought me delicious coffee and did runs to the stationery store to buy more materials!









There are many Hello Sandwich craft examples on display ready for the demonstration day!










I will be doing four 30 minute demonstrations on the hour starting from 13:00. The 14:00 and 15:00 demonstrations are completely full but there are about 2 or 3 standing positions available for the 13:00 session and the 16:00 session! If you'd like to come along be quick to book via Entre Square :) The demonstrations are free (!) and reservations can be made by emailing (English okay) aoyama@entrex.co.jp


13:00 = Original Wrapping Bag and Corsage making
14:00 = Scrapbooking and bookmark making
15:00 = Original card and tag making
16:00 = Party Decorations - Coaster, Luncheon Sheet, Cup decoration




When I got home from the set up installation today I was stopped on the street by a courier who recognised me and had a delivery from mt tape for me! He quickly pulled over his van and asked me if I was going home, then he followed me with a huge box from mt!

mt asked me to do another mt school for wrapping workshop (remember last years? ) and make five artworks for the mt exhibition! So these beautiful tapes will be put to good use! The first workshop will be on April 7th at 11am! I hope you can come along!

Moody Shimokitazawa Weather

Isabell Boinot "Sugoi" at Harcoza

The lovely Isabell Boinot (do you remember this?) is back in town and I am so excited. Sarah and I visited her at her exhibition at Harcoza today. Her exhibition and lovely new book are so lovely, if you have the chance pop on over to Daikanyama to have a look. Harcoza is soooo cute too! I want almost everything in that shop! There was even finger shaped wagashi today for the special opening party!
