Morning Adrenaline Rush - Shinjuku High-rise

This morning I went up to the 28th floor of the Nikon service center building in Shinjuku. I went with my book photographer Boco-chan. It was a serious adrenaline rush. I've never been up so high in a building in Tokyo since the March 11 quake. I didn't particularly fancy doing so either (BOCO-CHAN!!!ふふふ) All I could think of was another quake coming and the building shaking (or crumbling). Rather than take the first elevator back downstairs I decided to laugh it off with Boco-chan and now I have this lovely photo of this amazing view to show for it.

Yoyogi Koen Hanami

This was my first time to go to a hanami party! It was so incredibly beautiful and such a wonderful time to be in Tokyo! This hanami season I went to as many parks as I could fit in between my mt workshops. I will post the other park photos in separate posts. I hope you will enjoy!

I love these guys with their 'tables'!

I think I drank a bit of every different type of alcohol ever invented this day/night...
sake, sparkling, beer, wine...

Rubbish - but so colourful.
